We can read the story from changing perspectives and time. Hanson and Lilian are the two protagonists. Hanson is escaped from the prison. Our relationship completely deteriorated, Lilian alone raising their daughter. We get a lot of reference a mystery thing but later we know what was this. The secret is revealed and I have got some problem. I loved the charaters but I've got deja vu feeling. I'm looked this plot on movie and from here I didn't enjoy it. The characters are different some thing but the idea is similar. At this point I lost interest in the story. In the next moment the writer put in a screw what I wasn't expecting - I didn't understand - but there was. 

However it's a good book but not now and for me. I'm read Clarissa's other books and I like her style. But this book is different. 

                                                                                                                                           

A történetet váltott szemszögben és idősíkon is olvashatjuk. Hanson és Lilian főszereplők és Daisy a mellékszereplő. A férfi megszökött a börtönből. Főszereplőink kapcsolata megromlott, Lilian egyedül neveli lányukat Daisy-t. Rengeteg utalást kapunk egy rejtélyes dologra, de körülbelül a könyv 3/4-éig csak sötétben tapogatózunk. Aztán kiborul a bili, a titokra fény derül és itt van az a bizonyos probléma. Míg a karakterek egész kedvelhetőre sikerültek, nos a cselekmény, olyan érzésem volt mintha én ezt már láttam volna filmben. Rövid keresgélés után meg is találtam melyikben. Ugyan a karakterek és a könyv apró vonásaiban különböztek, de az alap ötlet ugyanaz volt. Ezen a ponton vesztettem el érdeklődésemet a történet iránt. Aztán az írónő tett bele egy csavart amire viszont egyáltalán nem számítottam - nem is értettem - de ott volt. 

Úgy vélem hogy ez egy jó könyv, de nem most és nem nekem. Olvastam Clarissa előző könyveit, szeretem a stílusát. De ez a könyv más.
