Enjoy the POV: 👌

We can read this story from Wolfe and Francesca's point of view. Enjoyable and it is not difficult to follow the story for the reader. The author’s style is not unknown to me because I have had the opportunity of reading her works: Sparrow and the first three parts of Sinners of Saint series. All of her books are brilliant, and The Kiss Thief is no exception. The author built the plot precisely and gradually. You always get a crumb which makes you want to know more, and the end is no exception. I would have read more.

Shen makes us see Francesca Rossi as a spoiled princess, but as we'll later find out it's just a cover that her father, The Outfit, and everybody is expecting from her. I didn't like that he didn't have much more expectation from her apart from getting married and having children. I was very pleased that Francesca had goals. She didn’t flatter. 

Senator Wolfe Keaton is an arrogant, ruthless man. He does not explain himself, he is not asking, but commanding who refuses to bow down to anyone. We know very little about his past- almost nothing. We get crumbs only at three-quarters of the book that do not tell the truth. Despite his methods, I was particularly pleased that the woman eventually - against her will -became a wife. He stood by her, encouraged her. And with this, he got all my sympathy, but there were situations when I would have punched him. But I knew that deep down inside he is a good man.

There comes a point when Francesca's stubbornness was too much. It was at that point where she gained the man’s trust, but at a huge price. Wolfe broke all his rules for her.

However, both characters has undergone important character development. It is really hard to obtain trust, but 

it's really easy to lose. 

The "war" between the man and Francesca's father gave an extra excitement and opened the eyes. Both the woman’s and her mother’s eyes.

What would you do for trust? What would you do for your loved ones? Would you be able to betray them? Whether revenge or love are more important? What's more, can hate lead to love?

A masquerade ball, a stolen kiss changes everything. A story, which is so upsetting,takes you (away). It crushes your heart to reborn from its ashes.

                                                                                                                                               

A történetet Wolfe és Francesca szemszögéből olvashatjuk. Végig élvezhető, nem okoz nehézséget követni az olvasónak. Nem ismeretlen számomra az írónő stílusa,  hiszen volt szerencsém olvasni Sparrow, illetve Sinners of Saint sorozatának első három részét. Eddig mindegyik könyve brillírozott mely alól a The Kiss Thief sem kivétel. A cselekményt pontossággal és fokozatossággal építette fel az írónő. Mindig kapsz egy morzsát hogy később még többet akarj, ami alól a vége sem kivétel. Szívesen olvastam volna többet.

Francesca Rossi-t elsőre egy elkényeztetett hercegnőnek láttatja velünk Shen, de a későbbiekben kiderül hogy ez csupán egy álca amit az apja a The Outfit és mindenki vár tőle. Nem tetszett hogy nem várta többet tőle minthogy férjhez menjen és gyerekeket szüljön, és nagyon örültem neki hogy Francescának is voltak céljai. Nem hajbókolt és ha ugyan engednie is kellett azt bizony megtorolta.

Wolfe Keaton szenátor, egy arrogáns, könyörtelen férfi. Nem magyarázkodik, nem kér hanem parancsol és nem hajol meg senki előtt. Múltjáról nagyon kedveset, mondhatni semmit sem tudunk. Csupán a könyv 3/4-énél kapunk morzsákat, de az sem fedi a teljes igazságot. Módszerei ellenére kiváltképp örültem hogy a nő végül - bár akarata ellenére - de az ő felesége lett. Kiállt mellette, bátorította, próbálgathatta szárnyait. Ezzel elnyerte teljes szimpátiámat, ugyan voltak helyzetek mikor szívesen lecsaptam volna. A lelke mélyén azonban tudtam hogy jó ember.

Francesca makacssága egy ponton túl sok volt. Igen az volt az a pont. Ezzel ugyan elnyerte a férfi bizalmát, hatalmas árat fizetett érte. Fokozatosan bontotta le a férfi falait, olyannyira hogy Wolfe az összes szabályát megszegte érte. 

Azonban mindkét karakter hatalmas jellemfejlődésen esett át. A bizalmat nagyon nehéz megszerezni azonban nagyon könnyű elveszteni. 

A férfi és Francesca édesapja közti "háború" volt az ami megadta a plusz izgalmat és felnyitotta a szemeket. Mind a nőét mind édesanyjáét. 

Te mit tennél meg a bizalomért? Mit tennél a szeretteidért? Képes lennél elárulni őket? A bosszú vagy a szerelem a fontosabb, és mi több a gyűlöletből vajon lehet egykor szerelem is?

Egy álarcos bál, egy ellopott csók mely mindent megváltoztat. Egy történet mely felkavar, magához láncol. Porrá zúzza szívedet hogy később hamvaiból újjászülethessen.
